Sales Consultant

Role Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively identifying and developing new sales opportunities, qualifying leads and closing selected customer accounts. The sales consultant will receive inquiries by phone and/or web, uncover key needs and requirements, explain basic product features, and demonstrate product.

Additional responsibilities include: making outbound calls to target companies, placing follow up calls, assisting and supporting sales team in product presentations and demos and acting as liaison between prospects and direct sales representatives.

Background Required: 1-3 years sales experience, preferably in software/IT. You must have a strong phone presence and proven interpersonal skills when dealing with internal and external clients, as well as sales prospects. Must be customer-service focused and have the ability to understand software features and functionality. Experience in solution selling a plus. The candidate must possess superior communication and presentation skills, strong technical aptitude, a results driven focus on objectives, an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction and an ability to execute on multiple priorities in this fast paced environment, and be a team player. Knowledge of project management is a plus.
