| Implementation Consultant
Role Description
The Implementation Consultant will be responsible for implementing the Unanet Web-Based Professional Services Automation (PSA) software solution for customers. A successful candidate will have experience in consulting and implementing software solutions focused on accounting, project management or professional services automation. Candidate will have knowledge in government accounting practices with experience using government accounting software such as Deltek, MS Dynamics,
Sympaq, Procas or other software.
Candidate will be responsible for implementing and training new and existing customers. The Implementation Consultant also will be responsible for supporting Unanet's Business Development team in pre-sale support. The candidate must possess the ability to collaborate with the Unanet professional services team and interact with customers at all levels and demonstrate the ability to successfully deliver. This position will report to the vice president of professional service
and will assist in growing a newly formed professional services organization.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 to 5 years of consulting experience - preferable technology related
- Specific experience using government accounting software such as Deltek, MS Dynamics (SL, NV or GP), Sympaq, Procas or other software
- Proven ability to interact with clients at all levels
- Ability to develop implementation plans with clients
- Training delivery experience
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, able to multi-task
- Ability to work independently or as a project team member
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
- Experience with relational databases and SQL (Oracle and SQL Server)
Background Requirements
- Education
- Bachelors Degree (MIS or CS preferred)
- Additional Learning and Training Activities
- Business Experience
- Experience in accounting systems, project management, professional services activities, and the services business
- Knowledge and understanding of consulting organizations, internal IT organizations and advanced technology organizations
- Corporate Experience

- Technical Experience
- Experience with government accounting software
- Excellent knowledge of the Internet and web based applications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and Internet applications
- Proficient in Professional Services Automation Applications
