Role Description
Unanet Project Portfolio is a Professional Services
Automation (PSA) solution with Resource Management, Project
Management, Timesheet Management, Expense Management
and Teamwork Collaboration capabilities in one business
management software solution. Unanet Project Portfolio
is a web-based solution that delivers real-time performance
management and project accounting for a company’s
projects and people.
Unanet is seeking candidates to
fill the position of Implementation Consultant. The Implementation
Consultant
will work with new and existing clients to match their
business needs with the capabilities of the Unanet Project
Portfolio product. A successful candidate will have experience
in project or portfolio management, consulting and implementing
software solutions. Candidate will have knowledge of
both commercial and government accounting practices.
In
addition, the consultant will be responsible for providing
pre-sales support to Unanet's Business Development team.
The candidate must possess the ability to collaborate
with other members of the Unanet professional services
team and interact with customers at all levels demonstrating
the ability to successfully deliver. This position will
report to the vice president of professional services.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of business
consulting experience
- PMP certification or equivalent is required
- Familiarity
with Earned Value Management (EVM) is preferred
- Specific
experience using government accounting software such
as Deltek, Microsoft Dynamics and Sympaq is
preferred
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
- Ability
to interact with clients at all levels
- Exceptional
organizational and time-management skills
- Prior experience
with the Unanet product is desirable
Background Requirements
- Education
- B.A., B.S. or equivalent work experience
or technical and/or product knowledge comparable
to four-year degree in a related area
- Business Experience
- Experience in accounting systems,
project management and general consulting services
- Knowledge
and understanding of consulting organizations,
internal IT organizations
and advanced technology
organizations
- Strong understanding
of project management processes
- Corporate Experience
- Strong interpersonal and team
skills and desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced
environment
- Strong verbal and written
skills
- High level of initiative
to work alone or part of
a team
- Technical Experience
- Experience with government accounting
software
- Proficient in Professional Services Automation
