Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Java software engineer with 3+ years of programming experience to work in a closely-knit team environment. This engineer will be expected to quickly acclimate to the dynamic environment and be able to take ownership of software development efforts and deliver them within specified time frames. Candidate must possess a positive attitude and be comfortable functioning in a multi-tasking environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal and external customers to define product enhancement requirements
• Design, implement, and test new product features and functionality
• Provide input towards continued product technical and functional innovation.
• Provide product technical support to Customer Service and Sales Teams as needed

Required experience includes:

• Server side Java programming
• SQL skills (Oracle and MS SQL-Server a plus)
• HTML
• Familiarity with Javascript
• Design and Testing experience
• Good written and oral communication skills

Additional experience with the following technologies desired:

• JRun and/or Tomcat
• IIS
• Linux (or UNIX)
• XML
• Experience developing for multiple browsers (IE, Firefox, etc)
