Michael Riemer

Exec. Vice President, Marketing & Business Development at Trust Digital

Michael Riemer brings more than 18 years of general management, product marketing and business development experience across a broad spectrum of technologies and vertical markets to his role at Trust Digital. Since early 2002, Mr. Riemer was the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Q.Know, an enterprise software company focused on information management within the financial services and insurance markets. Prior to Q.Know, Mr. Riemer provided funding, consulting and advisory services to a variety of software, Internet, ASP and wireless companies.

From 1993-2000, Mr. Riemer served as Vice President of Product Management for Nextel Communications for more than 7 years, where he was responsible for all product and services management and delivery. Following Craig McCaw's investment, Mr. Riemer helped lead the re-launch of Nextel and was a key driver in the deployment of such innovative services such as Push-to-Talk (Direct Connect), SMS (short messaging service) and Packet Data.

Prior to Nextel, Riemer was Vice President of Business Development of ParaGraph International where he helped establish a US/Silicon Valley presence for a group of approximately 150 Russian developers. Mr. Riemer began his career by co-founding Certus International, an Information Security and LAN Management company. Mr. Riemer helped raise more than $1 million in private placement venture capital and then led the product management, marketing communications, technical support and documentation teams.

Mr. Riemer earned a BA from the University of Rochester in 1986.
