Patrick Mayworm

Vice President of Business Development at Technicolor Entertainment Services

Patrick Mayworm is currently Managing Partner of MP Explore Group LLC, an investment advisory firm in Los Angeles assisting clients with corporate and strategic financial decisions, international business expansion, joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to forming MP Explore Group, Mr. Mayworm was Vice President of Business Development at Technicolor Entertainment Services in Burbank, California. In this role, Mr. Mayworm was responsible for managing and directing strategy and business development activities, including acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances. Mr. Mayworm was instrumental in establishing Technicolor’s presence in China and India.

Before joining Technicolor, Mr. Mayworm was Vice President of Business Ventures for Intelsat, Ltd., a global satellite services company, with principal offices in Washington, DC, where he led the mergers and acquisitions team in over $1B in transactions over three years. Before Intelsat, Mr. Mayworm was Director of International Corporate Development at WorldCom following the merger with MCI. In this position, Mr. Mayworm was responsible for executing acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures to support WorldCom’s international strategy. At MCI Mr. Mayworm also held various senior management positions in business development, product marketing, international marketing, and corporate finance.

Mr. Mayworm is on the Boards of several for-profit and non-profit corporations. He has engineering degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the University of California at Berkeley, and a MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
