NETCONN Solutions is a 160-employee Government Contractor headquartered in Hagerstown, MD.
NETCONN adopted Unanet Project Portfolio in December 2006, replacing Deltek Time and a home-grown web expense reporting solution.
NETCONN noticed that hours spent processing the same number and dollars of expense vouchers have decreased over time, freeing staff up from data entry tasks to higher-level financial management functions in support of company’s strategic plan.
The efficiency of expense voucher processing has also increased as users learn more about the system, financial controls are automated, and far fewer vouchers are returned to them for correction.
But in addition to operational efficiencies and reductions in administrative effort, Unanet has enabled NETCONN to improved revenue forecasting models and share the same real-time revenue data across the organization. This ensures accurate and timely monitoring of project “burn rate” by staff on the "front line". Project performance goals are driven down to team leads and tied to performance rewards.
NETCONN is now extending the use of Unanet to include resource and skills management.
