PHOENIX Financial and Advisory Services, LLC provides strategic consulting services to small and mid-sized companies in the Government Services and Commercial Technology Industries; and, is partnered with Altus Associates to perform buy-side Merger and Acquisition services.
Prior to this position, Mr. Hughes was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Alion Science and Technology Corp, a large engineering and technology federal contractor, where he was instrumental in the founding of the company and its rapid growth from $200M to $750M in five years. His career includes the position as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at BTG, Inc., where he conducted their IPO in 1994 and directed the rapid growth of the company over a six-year period from $50M to nearly $600M.
Prior to BTG, he held senior executive positions with ManTech International Corp in the operations, administrative and financial areas supporting the growth of the company from $3.5M to $200M in annual revenues. During his 37-year career, Mr. Hughes was instrumental in closing over 40 Merger/Acquisition transactions and an equal number of financing transactions of all types to support these M/A programs.
