Patrick Mayworm, SVP EVM & International, GridPoint, Inc.
Patrick Mayworm is currently Senior Vice President for Electric Vehicle Management (EVM) and International Corporate Development at GridPoint, a leading smart grid software and smart energy company based in Arlington, VA. In these two roles Mr. Mayworm leads the electric transportation business practice of GridPoint and is responsible for all international business development activities for the company.
Prior to joining GridPoint, Mr. Mayworm was most recently Strategic Financial Officer at Klune Industries, an aerospace manufacturer in Los Angeles, California, and before that Vice President of Corporate Development at Technicolor Entertainment Services in Burbank, California, where he established a digital post production joint venture in China and an animation studio in India with DreamWorks Animation.
Before joining Technicolor, Mr. Mayworm was Vice President of Business Ventures for Intelsat, Ltd., a global satellite services company, where he led the mergers and acquisitions team in over $1B in transactions over three years. Before Intelsat, Mr. Mayworm was Director of International Corporate Development at WorldCom, and previously at MCI prior to the merger with WorldCom, where he held various senior management positions in corporate development, product marketing, international channel marketing, and corporate finance.
Mr. Mayworm is on the Boards of several non-profit and for-profit organizations. He has engineering degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the University of California at Berkeley, and a MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
