AUTOMATIC EXPENSE REPORTING ON THE WEB

Unanet Technologies (formerly Computer Strategies) and InterplX Technologies (formerly RPL) have teamed up to put automatic expense reporting on the web. ExpenseNet, developed by Unanet Technologies for use by InterplX Technologies, allows employees to use the web to enter expense reports
anytime, anywhere as well as submit requests for authorization prior to expenditure. The expense reporting software is available as a subscription service along with InterplX Technologies¹ Email and interactive voice-mail expense reporting services.

As a web product, ExpenseNet is platform neutral, working with PCs, Macs or UNIX clients. It will not require the staff support or other expenses connected to operating it in house. Errors are dramatically reduced, expenses accurately allocated, integrated with project labor costs, invoiced promptly, and morale improves with responsive expense reimbursement.

Users are directed by prompts to select preferred vendors for hotels, rental cars and airlines. Wizards automatically calculate currency conversions, mileage and worksheets. Prompts ask users for receipts and explanations, insuring accurate and complete reports. Expenses can be allocated along multiple projects and mapped to general ledger codes. Employees can view the status of requests and reports. Managers are alerted to expenses that exceed thresholds.
