Unanet Announces Partnership Expansion; Teams Up with Ultimate Software

Leading Employee Management Solution Provider to Integrate Unanet Applications

Fairfax, Va., July 17, 2000 - Unanet Technologies, the Pioneer in Web-Based Workforce Optimization, announced that Ultimate Software, (NASDAQ: ULTI), a leading provider of Web-based payroll and employee management solutions, will incorporate Unanet’s Web-based time, expense and project tracking components into UltiPro, a “best of breed” human resource and payroll solution for organizations of all sizes.

Through this partnership, Ultimate Software will sell Unanet’s Web-based applications: UnaTime, which records and reports employee time; Una$ense, for reporting and approving business expenses; and UnaPulse, for tracking progress on projects. Ultimate Software will create a seamless interface between UltiPro and Unanet’s applications for extended ease-of-use, convenience and enhanced business value.

Unanet’s UnaTime and Una$ense will allow UltiPro users to enter their time worked and expenses incurred for customers, projects and activities into a Web browser at any time, from any location, to facilitate on-time invoicing, payroll, financial reporting, reimbursement and project management.
