Unanet, Digicon and Sun Partner to Boost Profitability for Small to Medium-Sized Businesses!

Unanet Technologies (www.unanet.com), a developer of Web-based Professional Services Automation (PSA) software, announced today enhanced business management services for small to medium-sized government contractors and commercial consulting companies. Offered through a three-way partnership, these services include monthly subscription access to the powerful Unanet PSA software, hosted and managed by Digicon and powered by Sun Servers. Over the past several years, Unanet and Digicon have offered Applications Services Provider (ASP) software services which include resource management, project planning, project management, project portfolio management, timesheets and expense reports to government contractors and commercial service providers. Hosting the Unanet PSA software in its computer server farm, Digicon has provided 24/7 operations, network and systems administration services, reliable and fast Internet bandwidth, ever-ready electrical power, database maintenance, data backups, off-site storage, redundancy, and secure networks. Jointly, Unanet and Digicon have provided usage and performance monitoring, software updates and customer support to a vast array of clients. As the number of companies and individual licenses using the PSA software grew, Unanet and Digicon recognized the need for a higher performing server with more capacity and room to grow. When Digicon achieved SunTone certification, the suggestion was made to move the Unanet PSA to Sun Servers. After the transition, Unanet’s customers remarked on the improved performance and the execution speed of the Unanet real-time project management reports.
