• Significantly Enhanced Security Access – gives greater visibility, reporting and data access to the Manager and Project Manager Roles, and individuals tasked to a specific project based on administrative privileges. Additionally, the HR Administrator Role now has restricted access to a defined set of people. For large organizations where there are many HR administrators, this will be a welcome enhancement.
• As a complement to these data access enhancements, 7.4 offers a New Project Viewer Role to grant individual users reporting visibility on a project-by-project or organizational basis, and a new Resource Manager Role for creating and managing project assignments and plans.
• 3D Resource Planning - enables Resource Managers to forecast planned hours or (as assignments) budged hours. Using a single spreadsheet-like window, users can segment planning by project, person, and time based on weekly, monthly, and quarterly criteria.
• Ad-Hoc Reporting Power Tools - offers additional support for sub-totaling and custom formulas tailored for real-time reporting so customers can conduct sophisticated Project Portfolio Analysis and Activity Based Tracking.
