Convene
at Second Annual Worldwide
Meeting
Two-day event shares best practices
and future developments for Project Based Organizations.
Sterling, VA, May 11, 2009– More than 90 customers,
partners and Unanet staff attended the second Annual Unanet
Customer Meeting held on Wednesday May 6 and Thursday
May 7, 2009 in Reston, VA. The conference offered keynotes
fom industry experts, product strategy and product training
sessions from Unanet, and sessions to provide input and
feedback on product direction. In addition four customers
provided their perspectives on implementinf Unanet in their
organizations:
- Andrew Eastman, VP of Client Services, Adayana,
presented how his company has, over time, adopted more
and more functionality in Unanet and now includes matrix
resource management of staff, sub-contractors and consultants,
and also reporting on direct and indirect project costs.
- Keith Mortier, CEO, Lunarline, described their
adoption of Unanet to fulfill their needs for an integrated
system offering DCAA Compliant timekeeping, project
and task management, project reporting and resource management.
Lunarline also realized additional benefits from the
automated
alerts and reminders, project costing, EVM reporting,
expense management, Project Notes for collaboration and
skills
management.
- Aaron Hall, VP PMO Office, K12 Inc., presented
how Unanet supports their product development processes;
tracking capital asset creation costs, resource planning
and management, and also to support a cost management
focus in an organization that had been previously been
just schedule
oriented.
- Mike Douglass, VP Program Management, WBB, described
how Unanet has been implemented across their matrixed
organization of more than 300 consultants, providing
a single system
for timecards, project management control over projects,
real-time project reporting, analysis and charts.
Unanet partners also perticipated, showcasing a wealth
of complementary solutions to Unanet software and services.
