Project Planning and Management:
Establishing and managing the Unanet Implementation
Project Plan identifying activities, timescales, and
responsibilities. Critical success factors are agreed.
Assumptions are identified.
Requirements and Process Definition:
Understanding, and
defining, customer specific requirements and processes
in support of implementing Unanet.
Evaluating and validating
how best to use the product to address new processes
and identified business needs.
Defining how different roles, business rules and processes
will be supported.
System Setup and Integration:
Translating the requirements
identified into a configured system, using defined
properties to control the fundamental
behavior of the system. A system administrator is lead
through this process to accelerate their learning of
the application.
Typically, integration with accounting and other business
systems will take place at this time. Optionally, Unanet
can be customized to enforce unique policies and business
rules regarding timesheet and expense submittal.
Training and Validating the Approach:
Unanet
uses a ‘Train the Trainer’ approach
to train key customer personnel on key application functionality
in order to provide them with sufficient knowledge to
train their user community.
Unanet consultants will also assist with the population
of data into Unanet and testing the Unanet configuration
to validate that business requirements are satisfied.
Rollout Support:
As the system is deployed across the organization, Unanet
will provide support to customer personnel during Unanet
rollout, helping to take corrective action when problems
are encountered.
