Our web-based software is extremely helpful to placement agencies, government contracting companies, and just about all businesses that handle project work either internally or externally.

It is very common for a human resources department to keep training records and skills inventories of all employees. Individual managers often maintain training matrices within their departments. The reason companies document skills and training is to ensure that people are working on tasks they have been trained to perform. Companies that have internal training programs also use training records to see which employees need additional education.

How Unanet Software Assists with Resource Management

While this type of documentation is helpful (and often necessary to pass external audits), it is not nearly as efficient and useful as the resource management software offered by Unanet. Using our web-based software, any authorized administrator can perform a search for qualified employees and contractors. If a project requires someone who knows both C++ and Java, for example, a project manager or recruiter can use Unanet's internal search to find a qualified individual within seconds.

In addition to finding candidates, the Unanet resource management software will also indicate which candidates are available for work. There may be ten qualified contractors or employees, but only three of them will be available to work on that specific project. The project manager or recruiter will not waste his or her time contacting people who are working on other assignments.
