Follow these steps if you are upgrading from one minor point release to another minor point release within the same major release (e.g. 3.2.3 to 3.2.10) Otherwise, if you want to migrate from one major release to the next (e.g. 3.1.x to 3.2.x) see the Migration Links.
This process is relatively straight forward, basically you are simply downloading and replacing the unanet.jar file (no database migrations necessary).
Make a backup copy of the current unanet.jar file (this step is not required but recommended).
In your directory, (we will use <default C:> in this example), you will see the C:unanet.jar file. As a precaution, you can save your current unanet.jar file in case the one you are about to download does not give you the results desired. Just copy this file into the directory of your choice.
To obtain the new point release, you can download the latest unanet.jar file from our Web site at: http://www.unanet.com -- (click on the Support button). Note: you do need to have a support login id to access the secured support area. Sign in to the Support site, and navigate to the Download area to locate the latest unanet.jar file for the appropriate release. Once downloaded, overwrite the file that currently exists with the new unanet.jar file.
Restart your servlet engine. No changes will take effect until you do so. You may want to do this when user's are not accessing the system.
