The Administrator has the ability to view or modify the dilution information for each user provided the system is set up to use dilution (see Unanet Dilution ). This information can tell you what dilution factor was applied to the effective cost rate and whether or not the calculation has been done by the system.
Normally you will never need to use this screen, but it is useful if people are hired or released on dates that do not line up with a dilution boundary. You could use this screen to change the Hours in Period (which you would manually calculate based on the person arrival or departure dates) and recalculate the dilution for that period.

| Takes you back to previous screen. | |
| Allows you to change attributes about the dilution period. | |
| Causes the system to calculate this dilution period and apply the results. |
Begin Date - The start date for this dilution period.
End Date - The end date for this dilution period.
Factor - The calculated factor to apply to the cost rates for this person. It will apply to work done in the date range of this dilution period.
Hours In Period - This field is used to calculate the
dilution factor. It represents the number of available or normal
hours in the dilution period. By default, it gets its value from the
dilution period available hours, but it can be changed by using the edit (
)
icon.
Calculation Required - Tells whether the
dilution needs to be calculated or not. If it has already been calculated,
the symbol (
)
will appear, otherwise (
)
will appear.
