Privilege Needed: Administrator
Unanet allows a user to assign one to many Skills to their particular user profile. Each skill assigned to a user is given a Skill Level (e.g. a level of proficiency). The Administrator maintains the list of skill levels for your Unanet installation.

NOTE: Users must have the UnaSource User role in order to maintain and view their own skill information.
Location: Administrator - Data Types - Skill Level - Add.
Administrator can setup new Skill Levels by filling out a form shown below.

Skill Level - this field contains the name of the new Skill level. This field is mandatory.
Description - this field contains the description of the new Skill level. This field is optional.
Sort Order - this is an optional numeric attribute of the Skill Level. If it is populated, it's value will be used to sort the Skill levels. That is, instead of sorting Skill levels alphabetically (e.g. Advanced, Expert, Intermediate, Novice), the appropriately chosen numeric values assigned to each Skill level may result in the "logical" order (e.g. Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert). If not sort order is specified, it will default to 0.

Existing skill levels can be viewed, edited and deleted from this screen. A skill level can not be deleted once it is associated with any user's skill entries.
