When a Project Manager enters a project into Unanet, one of the attributes of that project is the current Project Status.
You can add your own additional statuses here, but they all have to have one common attribute in their definition: Open or Closed. You can create as many statuses as you want, but only the ones defined as Open can people charge time and expenses against. Only the open projects will appear in a users list of available projects on the timesheet and/or expense reports. An example of other projects statuses may include "Pending", "Proposal", "Planning", etc.
Unanet comes with two standard Project Statuses: Open and Closed.
These screens are used for defining the list of project statuses. These statuses are used by the Project Manager on the Project screen.
