This menu option is only used in UnaTime.
The Administrator must define what the time periods are used in your company. UnaTime can support as many time periods as you need as long as they are all either (1) Weekly, (2) Every Two Weeks, (3) Twice a Month, or (4) Monthly. Approvals are exercised on these time period basis. You may set up one or many time periods if you have different needs for select groups of users.
It is necessary to enter the beginning date of the time period. If the time period is twice a month, then UnaTime will also need the second begin date. From that point on, UnaTime will calculate all the time periods automatically. For example, you would only need to set up one weekly period (not one for each week of the year) -- Unanet will setup the remaining for you.
It is also necessary to enter the number of standard hours in the time period. The value in this field will be used to calculate the effective cost rate if this Unanet application has been configured to use Cost Rate Dilution. Click Unanet Dilution to learn more about our implementation of dilution. Please note that Unanet users can setup custom time periods with different standard hours.
