Login / Logout Screen
Login: enter username, password, press login button.
Below is the login screen. Unanet logo is displayed at the top of this page and will remain at the top of any page in the Unanet application. By clicking the Unanet logo a user can return to this screen from any part of the Unanet application.
The menu on the left expands and collapses by clicking on each menu item. Before you login, the only available menu option is Help. After a successful login the menu will include additional items determined by the Unanet roles associated with the username as well as the licensed Unanet products installed.
A splash image appears on the page below the Login button. By default this image is set to the Unanet logo, however this image can be replaced with a custom image specific to the particular installation. A target URL may also be defined for this image. See setting up Unanet Property Files for examples on how to do this. In the example below, the image was changed to the globe.
The splash image is followed by the copyright information with an imbedded link to the company's web site.
A valid username and password must be entered to allow a user to login to Unanet. A username UNANET with the password UNANET is provided with the system for the initial login. This login is case-sensitive. It is given a limited set of Administrator privileges that will allow the new "real" users to be created in the system. Once at least one "real" user is given the Administrator role, the UNANET / UNANET login is disabled automatically.

Once you login successfully, you will see a Welcome screen similar to the one shown below. The menu items will be determined based on your Unanet Role and the licensed Unanet products installed on your site. You can always return to this screen by pressing on the Unanet Logo at the top of the screen. At this time, a list of licensed Unanet products will appear under the splash image. In the example below, Una$ense and UnaTime are the only Unanet products installed.
To logout, press the Logout button.
