Below is the Administrator Extract Menu expanded. Anyone defined in the database as having Administrative User Privileges can access any of the menu items under Administrator Extract. Click on the menu below for documentation in that section.
The difference between Export and Extract for Time and Expense, is that the Export does not change the status of any of the timesheets or expense reports. The Extract will change the status of a timesheet or an expense to EXTRACTED. The Export also allows for exporting data that is not yet completed. The administrator can select to export timesheets or expenses that are still INUSE, or currently in the Approval Process. The Extract only allows for the extraction of COMPLETED, LOCKED or previously EXTRACTED timesheets or expenses. The LOCKED status is used if the Administrator would like to lock the timesheet record so that it can not be opened by the user again to edit, but to note that the timesheet also has not been extracted yet. It is used as an in-between status of COMPLETED and EXTRACTED.
Please note: Depending on what license key information you have (or what Unanet interfaces you have purchased), you will see different items under the Extract Menu. Below are the current options:
If your system is configured with no special extract interface, you will see the following:
If your system is configured with the ADP extract interface, you will only see two sub menu options, ADP and Mapping. Depending on your license setup, you will also see Time and Expense under ADP. To use the ADP interface, you must have a UnaADP license issued by Unanet Technologies.
If your system is configured with the Deltek extract interface, you will only see two sub menu options, Deltek and Mapping. To use the Deltek interface, you must have a UnaPay license issued by Unanet Technologies.
If your system is configured with the Costpoint extract interface, you will only see two sub menu options, Costpoint and Mapping. Costpoint will have two sub menu items, Time and Expense. To use the Costpoint interface, you must have a UnaPay for Costpoint license issued by Unanet Technologies.
