Assign People to Projects

Privilege Needed: Project Manager User

This page gives the Project Manager the capability to select certain people for a particular project. Since a company can have thousands of employees, the Project Manager can filter the "Available People" by entering the person's "Last Name" or the "Organization" and then clicking on the filter ().

Notice the options regarding rates. This option is evaluated when the save button is clicked, not when you move people from the Assigned People box to the Assigned to box.

Person Default Rates - makes the assignment with no override rate information (thus using the person's default rate if they have one).
Labor Category Rates - makes the assignment using with rates overridden to match the person's default Labor Category Rates.

Note regarding Inactive Users: User's that have been set to a status of "Inactive" will not show up in the left "Available People" window. They will, however, show up in the right "Assigned to" window. In this way, you can unassign an inactive users if you would like. By default, the users will remain assigned even if they are set to a status of inactive.

	Save the data on the current page.
	Clear the data on the current page.
	Manage Task Data.
	Moves back to the Project List page.
