Timesheet Status Report

This report shows the status of a timesheet, the hours completed by an individual, the amount of hours an individual should be showing based on a 8 hour Monday - Friday work week, and the percentage of hours completed thus far for a given time period. The report also shows Pending Project Manager and Customer Approvals when the status of the Timesheet is Submitted or Approving.

Note: when time applies to a Project that does not require Project Manager or Customer approval, there would be no PM or Customer Pending Approvals. Displayed below are the query screen and the results screen.

Person Organization - shows all Organizations that each person belongs to. This is a field on Person page when you create a new Person record.

Approval Group - shows all Approval Groups that are created in the system. For more details on the Unanet approval process see Setting up Approval Groups.

People - all People that are assigned to the Projects are shown here.

Timesheet Status - the different statuses that are used to track a timesheet.

Classification - select which user classifications to include in the results.

Time Period - lists the time periods that are set up in the system.

Enter Date - the report will list the status of the timesheets in a Date Range that is determined by  the selected Time Period and Date.

Report Options - whether this report should simply include the timesheet status section or additionally include a listing of all associated timesheets with appropriate details (e.g. the preview versions of each of the timesheets).   This feature was added to assist with the ability to perform a mass print of timesheets (see the note about printing that accompanies the example below).

Note: When selecting the Detailed report option, depending on the quantity of timesheets included in your selection criteria, the report may take up to several minutes to display.  So you know when the report has completed, your screen will read 'Details Complete' at the bottom of the listing (see the example below).

By default, the Summary only report is selected.  If you select the 'Timesheet Status Report (Detail)', you can then optionally also include the Cell Comments, Approval History, Audit History, Adjustment Detail and Print View Footer sections (if they exist for each particular timesheet being displayed).  The Audit History check box will only appear if this system is configured with the unatime.audit property set to true.  The Print View Footer check box option will only appear if this system is configured with one of the three  Timesheet Print View Footer text.property settings active.

Example of Timesheet Status Report (Summary):

Example of the Timesheet Status Report (Detail):

Note the section at the top is similar to the Summary report above.  The section at the bottom will contain a preview version of each user's timesheet in the list above.  By clicking on the eye-glasses in the top summary section, you can jump down to the associated timesheet detail in the lower detail section.

Each timesheet in the detail section is separated by a bold gray bar.  This page may also be useful for the purposes of bulk printing of timesheets.  This page was constructed with embedded form feeds which are currently recognized by the Internet Explorer 5.0 or above browser (sorry Netscape users -- you can still print, but you won't have a form feed between each timesheet).

Note: If your administrator has setup the reports to display the company logo, then the report will look a little different with an extra field appended to the form. Click here for an example.  If your administrator has setup the reports to display different company logos, then the report will look a little different with 2 extra fields appended to the form. Click here for an example.

Timesheet Status Report for the Viewer

Privilege Needed: Viewer

The Unanet role called "Viewer" has access to two reports that contain time information for people that belong to the same Person Organization as the Viewer User. The Timesheet Status report is one of these reports. (The other report is the Organization Time Report).

The selection screen for the Timesheet Status report does not include the Person Organization and the Approval Group, since the "Viewer" only has access to information for people in the same Organization. The report output itself looks the same as the original Timesheet Status report.
